What Are BOTOX and Neurotoxins?
Each time you see your reflection in a mirror, are you bothered by creases and wrinkles on your forehead and in the delicate skin surrounding your eyes? We also offer the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Dysport® and DAXXIFY®. Much like BOTOX, Dysport is a neurotoxin that uses a filtered form of type A botulinum toxin to temporarily relax particular facial muscles. Although the frequent movements that result in dynamic wrinkles will cease and the overlying skin will tighten, you will still be able to smile, frown, and make many different facial expressions without causing dynamic wrinkles. You will also see a rejuvenated look that won't look "overdone."
DAXXIFY is one of the newest neurotoxins available at The Spa at MPS. DAXXIFY is a long-lasting peptide-powered frown line treatment. This wrinkle relaxer is vegan-friendly, and many patients will begin to see results within 24 – 48 hours of injection. Results can be visible for up to six months.

How Are BOTOX and Neurotoxin Treatments Performed?
During your first consultation at The Spa at MPS, your injector will perform a facial analysis to help you determine which areas need treatment. Since wrinkle relaxers are performed as an efficient, in-office service, your injections can typically be carried out during the same appointment. The wrinkle relaxer formula is injected into specified areas of your forehead or face using a small syringe. The treatment itself takes only a few minutes to complete, and most individuals notice only slight discomfort (such as a pinching or pinprick sensation).
